Cruise ship, 16,144 gt, chartered to Phoenix Reisen from Classic International Cruises, , built 1948 as Stockholm for Swedish America Line.  Famous for the North Atlantic collision with Italian liner Andria Doria (1956).  Sold 1960 to East Germany, named Volkerfreundschaft, sold 1985 became Fridtjof Nansen, as a refuge hostel in Oslo, 1989, sold and laid up, eventually becoming Italia I in 1993.
