Purchased by Acergy 1994 and converted to Offshore Construction Ship.  Renamed Oil Driller 1989 -90, reverted back to Petrel; renamed 1993, Enterprise; renamed 1995 Seaway Falcon.  Present name since 2006.

BOTNICA [IMO 9165877]

The Finnish Multi purpose off Shore vessel BOTNICA leaving Leith 26^th June 2009 after a thirty-eight week stay.   The combined Tug/ Ice Breaker / Dive Vessel is operated by the  Finnish Maritime Administration, and the state owned shipping enterprise Finstaship.  At 6,370 gt, 2,850 dwt, built 1998, she is widely considered by the offshore industry to be one of the most advanced state-of-the-art vessels of her type. She was built at Aker Finnyards in Finland to Det Norske Veritas class standards.  Botnica is due to be based in the Mediterranean from September 2009.
