10,385gt, 7,500dwt, Pipelayer, Acergy Norway AS, built 1976 as Petrel, Pelican Class dynamically positioned drill ship. Purchased by Acergy 1994 and converted to Offshore Construction Ship. Renamed Oil Driller 1989 -90, reverted back to Petrel; renamed 1993, Enterprise; renamed 1995 Seaway Falcon. Present name since 2006.
Seen entering Dundee July 2007, prior to move to Kizomba 'C' Field, off Angola for EXXON.

The Normand Pioneer was used to transport diving equipment to the Barents Sea to assist attempts to reach the Russian submarine, the Kursk. in August 2000. She represents a pioneering design, combining a wide range of capabilities in a 95m-long and 24m-wide vessel.
