Built for AWSR Shipping Ltd {Foreland Shipping Ltd} for the supply of a world-wide strategic transport service, to the MoD under the Private Finance Initiative (PFI). It means the MoD will be able to rapidly move several thousand armoured and unarmoured vehicles to respond to crises around the globe. The MoD will normally use four of the ships with all six available for operations.
Leased to Transfennica - route - Hanko and Lübeck.

Ro-Ro Cargo ship, Cobelfret Ferries, 23.986 gt, 9,677 dwt, built 1996. Delivered 1998 and sailed on charter as the RFA Sea Crusader (A98) as navy's contribution to the Joint Rapid Reaction Force. Current name since 2003. Firth of Forth 19th September 2009, from Vlissingen Antwerp.

1,482 passengers and 3,250 tonnes of cargo - 800 cars .
She normally plies between Seyðisfjörður in Iceland; the Faeroes Capital, Torshavn; Bergen in Norway and Hanstholm in Denmark. During the summer months she includes Scrabster, Caithness on the Bergen Torshavn leg of her journey.
